Complimenting Your Hosts

Complimenting Your Hosts

A primer for the rest of us, by Lakewood Hosts’ customers

Be generous with compliments. Many, many people are under- complimented.

This brings me to “review-writers”. A company did not treat you properly, or a product is cheaply-made. Okay, I get it. But: When adding your review, have you adhered to facts only? Or has your recently-spilled coffee caused you to add unnecessary words that cause harm?

Is your review truly intended to help/warn others, or is the business your competition, a thorn in your side?

Truthfully, reviews do not seem to have this problem at all.

Here is just a sampling of the hundreds of honest reviews Lakewood Hosts constantly receives from our actual verified guests:

Yidel enjoyed a recent reunion at The Central Villa. He writes, “Very clean… great service… pictures matched what the house actually looked like. Very professional… Manager was super helpful… Highly recommended for any frum family that can afford it. Go for it!”

And we couldn’t agree more, Yidel.

Moishe spent a weekend at The Albert Villa, and reported: “…An absolutely amazing experience… super clean… porch was a pleasure… I would definitely go back there and recommend others to go.”

Dovid’s family needed a place to stay during Chasunah preparations, and could not have been happier. He tells it best: “We stayed at The Madison House for a long weekend… while shopping for our upcoming chasuna. The house was perfect… clean linen, plenty of towels, all the little things such as coffee, havdala needs, washing machine with Tide pods, etc… I can’t say enough about our experience, it was simply amazing!”

Adds Hillel: “We were very comfortable… comfortable beds with luxury linens… warm atmosphere… so helpful with us in all the needs we had, BH!!!!”

Tzvi noticed the impeccable attention to details, and awesome customer service as well. As he writes, “Thank you for a great stay… so pleased with the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the home… extra details enhanced our stay immensely… decorative linen, comfortable chairs, shabbos lamps… spacious play areas… A half-hour before Shabbos they still responded to questions we still had in preparing the house for Shabbos.

We look forward to using your beautiful accommodations for more happy family occasions!”

We’re not surprised, Tzvi.

Many say that Lakewood Hosts kosher rentals and villas exceed even the highest standards. Bruchi says it perfectly: “Thanks so much, Lakewood Hosts, for your terrific service and beautiful work! The house was immaculate and very well furnished. You gave us more than we expected. We hope to be back soon be”H. Need I say more?”

Mendy really appreciated the convenience of staying at an upscale home, in the heart of Lakewood, especially for out-of-towners: “We drove several hours to lakewood from our home and arrived tired and exhausted.

Wow! We were super surprised and so happy to see that it was new and clean and fresh and beautifully set up. Just like the pictures. No bait and switch…beautiful and comfortable… close to everything. We really appreciated the extras such as the negel vasser & havdalah candle and all the other little details. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

…There is no better option out there. Stop wasting precious time (like we did), book with them and enjoy your simcha.”

And who can refuse a home with stunning decor? Just ask Peri: “5 stars!! Unforgettable Weekend! We couldn’t have found a better place to stay… The house was sparkling clean, fresh linen, beautiful grounds… spacious – we fit comfortably with 5 families and children! The grounds are nice and walking distance to a few shuls and the lake… definitely hope to go back one day!”

So what makes this Lakewood Hosts’ customers want to write so positively about their experience?

People or companies that want to receive positive feedback first have to treat others respectfully and with kindness first.

Putting forth the effort to accommodate others is not always reciprocated, but it’s surely a prerequisite for pleasing those you serve.

That’s why Lakewood Hosts should rightfully be so proud of their hard-earned reviews.

And if you are looking for the perfect vacation rental company, ask yourself this one question: What do you want your kosher vacation experience to be like?

To take a trivial example, which of us ever undertakes laborious physical exercise, except to obtain some advantage from it? But who has any right to find fault with a man who chooses to enjoy a pleasure that has no annoying consequences, or one who avoids a pursue pain, but because those who do not know how to pursue pleasure rationally encounter consequences that are extremely painful.
